Montauroux is closest to the lake & autoroute... and has a lot more things to do!

There is a fantastic cinema, tennis & football courts, and a Go-Karts all within walking distance of the villa. The village square is just four minutes away, on foot.

THE VILLAGE

If you have stayed in the area before, you will know it is rare to find a large villa that is an easy walk on-foot into the centre of the village. The main square (shown here) is just a four minute walk from our front-door. There is a boulangerie for your morning baguette, a convenience store, a cafe, bars & restaurants and a farmers market every Tuesday morning.

Loc'Karts Electric Karts Circuit

KART ÉLECTRIQUE

Loc'Karts is a 1500m2 circuit dedicated to electric karts; great for kids from 3 to 14 years old. There are also bouncy castles and a game room with arcade terminals and vintage pinball machines. Just a five minute walk from our front door, with the fabulous Passion Pizza next door for refueling afterwards.

CINÉMA

Maison pour tous is a community-run cinema just 2 minutes walk from the villa. Notably, they have some showings in VOSTFR (version originale sous-titree en francais), which means an original version that has not been dubbed in French. They run all the latest blockbusters but also a great selection of art house movies too.

Saint Bartholomew Chapel

ÉGLISE SAINT-BARTHÉLEMY

Built in 1638, the church has a stunning wooden altarpiece framing a huge painting of St Bartholomew and the annunciation of the Virgin Mary. The chapel was famously purchased by Christian Dior (a local resident) in the 1950s, so he could gift it back to the people of Montauroux. It hosts fantastic musical events throughout the year and is the centre of a patron saint festival in late August.

HIKING TRAILS

If you are a hiker or trail runner, then you are in for a treat. Montauroux is encircled by Les Gorge de la Siagne. You could visit the dazzling Mandarin Bamboo Garden (on the road to Grasse) or hike to the Pont des Tuves (shown here), which straddles the border of the Var and the Côte d'Azur. Local businesses offer canyoning or rock climbing for the adventurous.
